2. What data we process and why

Table bookings: name, phone number, email address, number of guests, date, time and any extra information (e.g. allergies, if you tell us). Purpose: confirming and handling your booking. Legal basis: performance of a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).

Contact messages: name, email, phone number and message. Purpose: replying to you. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).

Catering quote requests: name, contact details, event details and wishes. Purpose: preparing a quote and delivering the order. Legal basis: steps prior to a contract and the contract (Article 6(1)(b)).

Online orders and bookings (GloriaFood): when you press an Order online or Book online button, the GloriaFood service (Oracle) opens. Your order details are processed in GloriaFood to handle the order or booking, and the service also follows its own privacy policy.

Technical use of the website: the server records technical log data (e.g. IP address, time and browser details) to keep the website secure and working. Legal basis: legitimate interest.

We do not use form data for marketing and we do not sell or pass it on.

3. How long we keep data

Form submissions are deleted from the website automatically after 12 months. The sender's IP address and browser details are removed after 30 days.

Copies received by email are deleted once the matter has been handled, unless the law (e.g. the Finnish Accounting Act) requires longer storage. Server logs are kept according to the hosting provider's practice.

4. Recipients and transfers outside the EU

We use trusted service providers: website hosting and email (web host), online ordering and bookings (GloriaFood / Oracle) and the map you can load on request (Google Maps).

Some providers may process data outside the EU/EEA, for example in the United States. Such transfers are based on mechanisms approved by the EU, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. Cookies and external services

This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, so we do not ask for cookie consent. Fonts are served from our own server.

External services are loaded only when you choose them: the Google Maps map with the Show map button and the GloriaFood ordering window with an order or booking button. These services may set their own cookies.

Your map choice is remembered in your browser's local storage (not a cookie), and the site's offer window may remember that you have already seen it. You can delete this data at any time in your browser settings.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest and receive your data in a machine-readable format.

If you believe your data is processed unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman: tietosuoja.fi/en.

7. Security

The website uses an encrypted HTTPS connection. Only restaurant staff whose duties require it can access form data.
